General
A ship visit to meet the crew and visit the bridge, crew recreation, mess room and possibly the engine room of a ship is a truly unique experience. The ships are large at 350m long by 60m wide and the superstructure is usually 5 stories high.
Travel with the Chaplain from the Seafarer's Centre by launch to a ship and climb the gangway 5 stories to reach the deck of the ship. After passing a security point you will be introduced to the crew. After receiving permission to tour a crew member will accompany the group through the ship - typically including the bridge, mess room, recreation room and possibly the engine room
